The 2016 NFL Combine is underway, and Wednesday brings the start of general manager and head coach press conferences. San Francisco 49ers general manager Trent Baalke is scheduled to meet with the media at 7:45 p.m. PT, while Chip Kelly has no press conference planned. This is the third straight season Kelly has not met with the media, so this is not exactly a shocking development.
I've embedded the CSN Bay Area live stream page above so we can watch Kelly's press conference. I'm pretty sure they'll have a feed, but if not, you can also check 49ers.com/live, the 49ers mobile app, and NFL Now. I imagine it will also air on NFL Network, although they usually cut in and out of the press conferences.
Baalke will get plenty of questions about the quarterback position. He's all but assured to be asked to address Colin Kaepernick's status, and also his thoughts on the various quarterbacks in this year's draft. He'll get some questions about the other free agents, and potentially what positions the team is looking at this week. I expect most bland, general answers, but maybe we'll get something interesting!
