Good morning. For a few months you'll be getting a double dose of one E. Pato for your Golden Nuggets goodness! Yes, for all two of you that are keeping track of which Niners Nation writer is doing which Golden Nuggets article on whatever day of the week, now you can update your schedules.
But the big news currently is that Quinton Dial has gotten himself a shiny new contract. Good. At best, Dial is a starter and at worst he's an above average rotational player. I know some people think the numbers are a bit high, especially if he's a rotational player, but it's enough that if he secures the starting role, we won't be stuck with an Alex Boone type hold out later on. He's a swiss army knife that at the very least doesn't have you disappointed too much. Pay him his money.
If Dial does become just a rotational guy, you can't have too many pass rushers, and Dial has been pretty decent. That now leaves a few other questions on that defensive line, with Dial being one of them (starter or rotational, again). It will be interesting to say the least, and Dial has only gotten better each year he's played, in my opinion.
