This is kind of interesting. Paxton Lynch spent much of the past few months considered one of the top quarterback prospects, with some mocking him as the first quarterback taken. Since the offseason began however, his stock has slipped in the media, and now Jared Goff and Carson Wentz are consistently considered ahead of him in the media.
Lynch spoke on Friday, and discussed the idea of having to sit as a rookie. He did not seem overly concerned about it. I'm trying to figure out what to take from this. On the one hand, I imagine most would love a quarterback who wants to come in and earn the starting job as a rookie. On the other hand, there is value in not rushing things. It's just some Combine comments, but I'm curious what people make of them.
