2016 NFL Combine results: Top performances from running backs in 40-yard dash, bench press, more

We've got 2016 NFL Combine results from Friday's running back workouts. Here are the top performers of the day.

The 2016 NFL Combine is wrapping up day one of the on-field workouts. Offensive linemen and running backs were the first to go through on Friday. The best resource for a full rundown of performances is this spreadsheet. It continuously updates, and tracks everything to be tracked.

We discussed offensive linemen earlier today, and now we're back with running backs. A lot of the same names appear at the top of the performances. Derrick Henry likely counts as the most notable given his status near the top of the draft projections. Ezekiel Elliott is expected to be the top running back off the board, but Henry will find a home. He's a monster of a man, measuring in at 6'2, 247 pounds. That's the same size as Von Miller. Weight could be an issue during Henry's career, but that's a whole lot of running back to take down.

Among local Bay area products, Daniel Lasco did solid work. He is looking at a tough time finding a spot in the NFL, but following this up with a strong showing at the Cal Pro Day might help a little bit.
