Golden Nuggets: The Colin Kaepernick "Trade" Market

Monday, February 29, 2016 edition of the Golden Nuggets, a daily compilation of San Francisco 49ers links from around the Internet.

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

The past week has been typical for the NFL Combine in that there were a lot of rumors flying around about this player and that player going to this team or that team. The biggest one connected to the 49ers is where QB Colin Kaepernick will be at the start of this NFL season. The thing about it is we can't even predict where he will be in the next month. Not even Colin knows.

Trent Baalke says that he expects Colin to be here on April 1st. Chip Kelly says he's looking forward to working with him. Then we hear talk about Kap's representatives asking for permission to seek a trade. Cleveland and Texas were reportedly interested. Then those teams deny that they have any interest. Jed York chimes in by saying that his guys want Kap to be here. Basically the only safe thing to say about this situation is that Colin Kaepernick will be a San Francisco 49er...until he's not.

Meanwhile, the player evaluation continues for Baalke and his team and also Anthony Davis is prepping for his big comeback. Let's get to those links then...
