Super Bowl 50 is mere hours away, and that means it is time to huddle around the television. While a sizable chunk of America is in front of a television watching the Super Bowl, some folks are left having to work, or are otherwise away from a television. For those folks, CBS Sports has you covered. The NFL has streamed all their playoff games this year, and CBS Sports is providing free live online stream of the Super Bowl.
This stream is better than the FOX and ESPN streams because I believe you do not have to have a cable log-in to use it. Instead, you just head over there and can enjoy the game free of charge. The NFL has yet to completely embrace streaming games online, but they are improving in that regard. They streamed one of the International Series games last year. The 2016 season is expected to feature a streaming capability for Thursday Night Football. The league is splitting up ten of the games between CBS and NBC, and is currently shopping for an online option as well. Google or Yahoo! are likely front-runners.
