NFL Draft trade rumors: Could Titans shake up top of the draft with Jalen Ramsey pick?

If the Tennessee Titans do not select Laremy Tunsil, what happens after that?

For most of the offseason, mock drafts have projected the Tennessee Titans to select Ole Miss offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil with the first pick of the draft. It is the safe pick for a team looking to build around quarterback Marcus Mariota. They have already invested a lot in the line, and another book-end tackle certainly would not be a shock.

However, what happens if the Titans look in another direction. Rumors are going to fly for the next month and a half, and the latest suggests maybe they go defense with the No. 1 pick. Walter Football draft analyst Charlie Campbell is reporting sources with the team have indicated Florida State defensive back Jalen Ramsey is now the favorite to go No. 1. He also says the process is not complete, and that Tunsil and Ohio State defensive end Joey Bosa are both on the radar.

Ramsey is viewed by many as the best all-around option in this year's draft. The No. 1 player on media big boards is not necessarily going to go No. 1 overall, but people love Ramsey. The Titans have holes on both sides of the ball, so drafting Ramsey would certainly not be a bad decision on their part. But what are we to believe at this point in the process?

I imagine the Titans would love to see someone overwhelm them with picks in an offer to trade down. If Ramsey did go first, it potentially sets up some dominos. If you're the Cleveland Browns, do you look for another book-end tackle in Tunsil? Do you hope you can get your franchise quarterback in Carson Wentz or Jared Goff? Do you trade down? If you're a team behind the Browns who really likes Ramsey, if you think the Titans might be serious with their interest, do you try and trade up with them to get Ramsey? So many things could happen with this.

If the Titans do take Ramsey, it could very well open the door for both of the top two quarterbacks to slip past the Cleveland Browns. I think in the end the Titans take Tunsil and the Browns take one of the two quarterbacks, but anything is possible at this point. It should make for an interesting
