Golden Nuggets: Waiting on the Colin Kaepernick trade ...

At this point, everybody is waiting to see what happens with Colin Kaepernick and whether or not the San Francisco 49ers will be able to trade him to one of the Denver Broncos, New York Jets or Cleveland Browns. Personally, I think Kaepernick gets traded and I think the compensation may actually be higher than reported, but that's just a hunch and isn't based in any kind of actual self-reporting.

I just can't see Kaepernick sticking around at all, if he has to "compete" with Blaine Gabbert. The concept of Kaepernick having to compete with Gabbert troubles me, but then again, I'm not going to argue with any Gabbert fan at this point. It's a lost cause and all I can do is sit and hope that things go well for the 49ers regardless of who is starting at quarterback.

Kaepernick being that guy seems like the least-likely option. I imagine he'll be playing for someone else next season. Onto the links!
