Here's a bit of a retro reference from an old song by The Clash, but it's definitely appropriate for Colin Kaepernick's current situation with the San Francisco 49ers:
Should I stay or should I go now?
Should I stay or should I go now?
If I go there will be trouble
An' if I stay it will be double
So come on and let me know
In the back of my mind, there is still a part that says given the right situation, Kap can regain his mojo and be a quality NFL starting quarterback again. That's why I'm torn on whether he should be dealt, released or given a chance under the Chip Kelly regime. Either way, Trent Baalke has shown that he is not just going to give Colin away, which means that there is still a chance that he will be on this roster after April 1 and possibly competing to regain his old job back once camp starts again.
I believe most of this will hinge ultimately on what Kap wants to do, and that he hasn't fully made up his mind yet. Once he does though, I have no doubt that he will once again be "all in".
