It was a busy 2015 for San Francisco 49ers rookie Jarryd Hayne. He left National Rugby League to make a run at playing American football in the NFL. He earned a spot on the 49ers roster out of training camp, but was waived in late October. He spent the next two months on the practice squad, and then was promoted back to the 53-man roster for the final two games of the season.
The Australian version of 60 Minutes followed Hayne around over the past year, giving them a chance to get a variety of interesting video together. They have footage of Hayne learning he made the roster, as well as what appears to be during the time either right before or after he was waive by the team. My favorite part might be him going into what appears to be a Target or Walmart to get a football after he arrives. We don't learn a ton of new stuff, but some of the footage is worth a watch.
