What will the offensive line look like with Zane Beadles?

The San Francisco 49ers signed free agent guard  Zane Beadles to a contract late last week, and on Tuesday, they formally announced the deal. It is reported to be a three-year deal worth $11.75 million, but the full details have not leaked out.

Trent Baalke released a statement with the press release:

"Zane is a talented, intelligent player who will be a wonderful addition to our locker room and the Bay Area community," said General Manager Trent Baalke. "His durability has been a valuable asset throughout his first six NFL seasons and his athleticism makes him a great fit to play in the up-tempo style of offense we intend to play. A NFL Man of the Year nominee in both Denver and Jacksonville, we look forward to our team benefitting from Zane's leadership and experience."

Beadles has played at left guard throughout his career, so it would seem like he would be the guy to replace Alex Boone. We don't know the guaranteed money on his deal yet, but my guess is he will be the front-runner at left guard. Andrew Tiller played both right and left guard last season. I would imagine he is the front-runner at right guard. If Anthony Davis returns, he will compete with Trent Brown at right tackle. That leaves Erik Pears as the most likely top reserve. Marcus Martin, Brandon Thomas, Ian Silberman, Jordan Devey, and Colin Kelly are all competing for opportunities as well.

And apparently he got the yelling I get over Niners "Nation". I guess I'm left to find a new job!
