Good morning, 49ers fans! The NFL owners' meetings wrapped up this week, and I believe teams have all gone their separate way at this point. San Francisco 49ers head coach Chip Kelly met with the media on Wednesday as part of the NFC coaches' breakfast, so there is plenty of content from that.
Today is a big day in the draft evaluation process. North Dakota State is holding their Pro Day, and while I'm sure offensive tackle Joe Haeg and punter Ben Lecompte will catch an eye or two, this one is all about quarterback Carson Wentz. This will likely not make or break his draft status given all the other work involved in the evaluation process. But it's a box for him to check off as he looks to be the first quarterback off the board in April.
It's safe to say the 49ers will probably have somebody on hand. It's a busy day with at least 10 other schools conducting Pro Days, but I have to think most, if not all teams will have a representative on hand for the performance. There will be plenty of private workouts and visits conducted over the next month, but today marks the last chance for everybody to watch him together.
