Zane Beadles contract includes $1.75 million signing bonus

It's a fairly reasonable contract, and if Beadles can bounce back from a poor 2015, it could be a nice little value.

The San Francisco 49ers announced the signing of former Jacksonville Jaguars offensive guard Zane Beadles on Tuesday, and I have some numbers for the contract.

The NFLPA updated their database of base salaries, and so we know that Beadles will earn $1.05 million in 2016, $2.45 million in 2017, and $3 million in 2018. I've since learned that his 2016 base salary is fully guaranteed, and $500,000 of his 2017 base salary is guaranteed for injury, and becomes fully guaranteed if he is on the roster on April 1, 2017.

Beadles will likely be locked in as the starting left guard. Andrew Tiller spent time at both right and left guard, but Beadles has played left guard his whole career. And with this kind of guarantee, it would be an upset if he was not in the starting lineup this fall.

Here is a breakdown of the deal.
