Good morning! Pre-draft hype is heating up and nothing more than who the 49ers should take at quarterback. Reports are coming out that the 49ers are working out Carson Wentz and Jared Goff. Of course, today is the day when we should hear if Colin Kaepernick's time with the 49ers will come to a close.
If they haven't done anything yet, they probably aren't going to do anything.
Now, to be fair, I would not at all be surprised about a last minute release to Kap. This is the 49ers front office we're talking about, but that's precisely why I think something would have been done on a Monday or a Friday (we all know about letting people go on a Friday). Kap is going to be on the roster going into the draft, though I would also not be surprised if they used him for some leverage in some trades during the draft. Used, but not successful.
We'll see.
