Golden Nuggets: The calm before the storm

Sunday, March 6th, 2016 edition of the Golden Nuggets, a daily compilation of San Francisco 49ers links from around the Internet.

Good morning everyone ... the NFL Combine is a thing of the past, pro days for various players are in full swing and free agency is just about here. The legal tampering period ... also known as a very stupid time that makes a complete mockery of the rules of free agency ... is just before said free agency period. I'm going to guess a whole lot of deals get done and agreed to well before the San Francisco 49ers even enter the picture.

But then again, that's just how I think. Maybe the 49ers come out and spend a lot of money, but I find that hard to believe. Anyway, there isn't a whole lot going on right now ... we've had a mercifully slow couple days around here, and as far as the 49ers are concerned, I consider that good news. So we'll be repeating some links from yesterday ... let's get right to it, yeah?
