The arrival of April means the 2016 NFL Draft is less than a month away. The San Francisco 49ers have been criss-crossing the country observing and visiting with numerous draft prospects. They will host up to 30 players in Santa Clara, they will run players through numerous private workouts, and they'll just take some time to catch up with players at the many Pro Days.
The team has met with a few offensive line prospects, and we can add a few more to the list. Matt Barrows has been doing some tracking of team visits, and he appears to be reporting the 49ers will host Ole Miss offensive lineman Fahn Cooper. 49ers offensive line coach Pat Flaherty was in Oxford for the Ole Miss Pro Day and worked out Cooper, along with Laremy Tunsil.
Here are two more visits people dropped in the comments of our own pre-draft visit tracker. The 49ers still might not know what exactly Anthony Davis has in mind for the coming year. In the meantime, these are the most significant meetings to date, at least of which we are aware. The team met with Cincinnati's Parker Ehringer at the East-West Shrine Game, Arkansas' Sebastian Tretola at the Senior Bowl, and Notre Dame's Ronnie Stanley at the Combine.
#Gamecocks OL Brandon Shell says he has individual workouts coming up w/ Panthers, Ravens, and 49ers. Will watch draft at home in Goose Crk.
