2016 NFL Draft rankings: NN QB rankings after Jared Goff, Carson Wentz

Earlier this week, I put together a poll asking people to rank their top five quarterbacks following Jared Goff and Carson Wentz. Although I realize not everybody has Goff and Wentz at the top of their rankings, it is safe to say those two would appear at the top of any ranked-choice ballot.

The ranked-choice option provided five points for No. 1, four points for No. 2, three points for No. 3, and so on. We got 626 votes on this, and while it is far from scientific, it gives us a pretty good handle on some of the names immediately after the big two.

I've posted the results down below, and I am not overly surprised by the top five. Paxton Lynch was the clear choice at the top. Connor Cook and Dak Prescott finished second and third. Prescott was relatively closer to Cook, but there was some clear separation, particularly with No. 1 votes. Vernon Adams and Kevin Hogan came in fourth and fifth. Adams has been on our radar for a while, and Hogan is a local product. I don't know how much that may or may not have influenced us, but it is worth noting.

Here are the complete results.
