Another day and nothing is happening with San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick. We don't know if a trade is any more likely, even as the Denver Broncos cleared some cap space by trading offensive tackle Ryan Clady to the New York Jets, who developed a need when D'Brickashaw Ferguson retired after ten seasons with the team.
The Jets moved quickly to land Clady, who was definitely on the trade market for some time now. As far as the 49ers go, I'm not positive this has much effect on a potential trade. The Broncos are hurting for cap space, but they also clearly have a number they want to pay Kaepernick and I think if a trade was going to happen, they would have found a way to make sure that number is clear.
That number isn't going to change now that they have more cap space, or at least it won't in my opinion. But what the heck do I know? Let's get to your links for the day... there aren't many new ones, either.
