Jerry Rice helped open putt-putt course for US Women's Open

New, comments

The 2016 United States Women's Open golf tournament kicks off later this summer at the CordeValle golf course down in San Martin, California, northwest of Gilroy. The tournament week starts July 4, but the area is doing some promotion to get people excited for that week. That includes opening a putt putt course in San Jose!

A few days back I stumbled across this, and somehow forgot to do something with it. Jerry Rice is a golf fan, and he apparently was on hand to help open the temporary putt putt course that has gone up at San Pedro Square Market. He posted this picture, and it absolutely cracks me up. I figure it's an easy way to wrap up the weekend.
