The San Francisco 49ers are bringing in another offensive lineman for a visit, as Matt Barrows is reporting the team has an official pre-draft visit with Oregon State guard Isaac Seumalo. The 49ers are working out a variety of players that are a little further down the radar, but potential options at guard. The team is looking at offensive tackles as well, but guard seems to be more of the focus in pre-draft visits.
Barrows brought up an interesting fact about Seumalo. He has been training with Joe Staley in Southern California during the offseason. This certainly doesn't guarantee he joins the 49ers, but maybe Trent Baalke looks for some insight from Staley.
Seumalo stands 6'4 and weighs 303 pounds, so he likely would put on a little more weight in the NFL. He dealt with a foot injury in 2014 that forced him to red-shirt the season. He bounced back in 2015, starting all 12 games for the Beavers. he has played tackle, guard, and center, but it sounds like his arm length and speed will keep him inside at the next level.
