Golden Nuggets: 49ers schedule released and we're all still doomed

Friday, April 15, 2016 edition of the Golden Nuggets, a daily compilation of San Francisco 49ers links from around the Internet.

Good morning everyone. Yesterday, a whole lot of things happened in the NFL, and most of it affected the San Francisco 49ers. First, the Los Angeles Rams, noted NFC West rivals if you didn't know, traded away a whole bunch of draft picks to move up to the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL Draft.

They are expected to take a quarterback, and with the Cleveland Browns picking at No. 2 also being expected to take a quarterback, the chances of the 49ers taking one in the top 10 is slim. This draft has two top players in Jared Goff and Carson Wentz and smart money is on both of those players being gone by the time the 49ers pick, unless the Rams happen to get the player the Browns want.

The other thing of note ... the NFL released the full schedule for the 2016 season. I really hate the milking of the schedule release and the hours leading up to the prime time reveal were maddening. But at first glance I don't see anything openly terrible about the schedule or anything like that. I don't have a different expectation today than I did before seeing the schedule.

Onto your links for the day.
