The 2016 NFL Draft is less than two weeks away, and we're back with the Niners Nation community big board. Voting is a wrap for the top five spots. I am guessing the Rams trade influenced some people to drop Jared Goff a bit, but as you can see, while he finished third, he had the most first place votes. Additionally, Myles Jack gets an asterisk due to the questions about his knee. People might have voted differently with the information that some teams are questioning the status of his knee, but we'll just leave him in as is for now. He gets a red flag!
Here are the full top five results, with first place votes in parenthesis. I will say there was a distinct separation between Ramsey at No. 5 and the player at No. 6, and then another big separation between that player and player No. 7.
1. DeForest Buckner, DT, Oregon: 2,293 (173)
2. Myles Jack, ILB, UCLA***: 1,917 (135)
3. Jared Goff, QB, California: 1,747 (213)
4. Laremy Tunsil, OT, Ole Miss: 1,707 (136)
5. Jalen Ramsey, DB, Florida State: 1,572(98)
I've added six more names to the list. I removed A'Shawn Robinson because he got zero votes. Even the player with the fewest votes ahead of him had four people vote for him. Sorry Robinson. He'll return in the near future, but I wanted to make some additional room.
Once again, vote for your top five. You can vote based on a variety of considerations. If you think the 49ers big board should be based entirely on best player available, order accordingly. If you think it should reflect certain needs, adjust accordingly.
I'll leave this poll up for 24 hours, and then post results and the next poll tomorrow late tomorrow afternoon. I'll add five more players into the poll, so feel free to suggest five additional players to add.
