The San Francisco 49ers, the Denver Broncos, and Colin Kaepernick/his agents are all busy trying to work out a trade. We continue to wait for what seems like an inevitable conclusion to this saga.
If Kap ends up in Denver, one of his recent rivals is plenty excited about it. Former Seattle Seahawks linebacker Bruce Irvin signed with the Oakland Raiders this offseason, and a Kaepernick deal to Denver would give him a chance to see Kaepernick twice a season.
Someone tweeted at Irvin about the potential deal, and Irvin had this to say:
RT @MrMrRaW: @BIrvin_WVU11 we chillin. Word on the street is you get to do more of this pic.twitter.com/x5xU1Mc3x6

I'm not remotely surprised he would express some excitement, as he's never been one to shy away from chatter.
This is interesting and all, but what would be more interesting would be two games a year between Colin Kaepernick and Alex Smith. If/when this deal gets done, would it surprise anybody to see the Broncos host the Kansas City Chiefs on the Thursday Night Football season opener? Maybe the NFL saves that for another game, but it would be a fun one.
