Golden Nuggets: Things rosy with Baalke and Kelly

Your San Francisco 49ers links for Thursday, April 21st 2016

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

When that tweet came out that Trent Baalke and Chip Kelly weren't playing nice in record time, there were a few things to ask. Like why was Brian Baldinger of all people the the one to be breaking the news on those two not getting along? It's not like the Bay Area media get left in the dark when there's front office issues.

What's interesting is Baalke's stand about the report being false. I'm not saying he was or wasn't sincere, but remember, this is the same organization that Mike Florio reported wanted to trade Jim Harbaugh to Cleveland, only to have Jed York tweet him hours later to say the entire report was false. How did that season end?

The sincerity is there, but it's something to keep in mind with the 49ers front office, they can vehemently deny anything but at this point, it's hard to know what to believe coming from that building.
