I should have set bets on how soon the Denver Broncos would be connected to quarterback Sam Bradford. Broncos beat writer Mike Klis is reporting the team reached out to the Philadelphia Eagles about their disgruntled quarterback. However, he is reporting the asking price is too high.
Prominent NFL source: Broncos reached out to PHI re: Bradford. Unable to confirm w/ team but NFL source: PHI asking price too high. #9news

It is not at all surprising to hear the Broncos reached out. I would not be surprised to hear the New York Jets also reached out. I do wonder however what the price is for Bradford. The big issue for the Eagles is the $11 million in dead money they eat with a trade. I imagine they want a sizable draft pick return to make up for the money they are losing.
My new favorite part of this whole thing is Bradford's agent. Tom Condon has said Bradford is a competitor and wants to go somewhere and "know he's the man." It is possible the Eagles lied to Bradford, but unless we hear something else, demanding a trade is not exactly being a competitor. I think we see Bradford stick around this season, but it will be interesting to see how the Eagles handle this whole thing.
