Good morning! It's finally here, draft day. Some people couldn't care less about the draft, I find it somewhat entertaining seeing all the players wheeling and dealing and finally asking myself "I wonder if that person will make it."
As if that could have been the biggest story, Anthony Davis tweeted out some sound draft advice for Trent Baalke, which has turned into the big news of the day, unfortunately. It's a little hard to gauge what all this is about with Davis saying that the 49ers front office doesn't want to win, among other things. Take a look at his Twitter page for the full reveal. All I know is I don't see Davis suited up going to practice at the moment, and this certainly doesn't make me optimistic. Having heard/seen so many cryptic tweets come out from Twitter this could mean anything. I'm sure we'll get more information as time goes on and know what is really going on behind the scenes, be it money, co-existence or whatnot, but calling out your employers out on Twitter isn't exactly going to gain you favor with the front office.
I just hope behind the scenes, they have made an agreement before the draft this year rather than an expectation he'll be back and only to be short handed. Again.
Let's get to the links!
