The 2016 NFL Draft featured guests announcing the second and third round picks for each team on Friday. The second round pick involved a "legend" for the team, while the third round pick involved a player who had been previously nominated for the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award.
For the San Francisco 49ers, Bryant Young was the legend, and Takeo Spikes was the MOY representative. Since the 49ers traded away their second round pick, BY and Spikes announced the third round pick together. BY got the honors, which is only right given his status in 49ers history. He won't be getting into Canton anytime soon, but he is one of the best defensive linemen the 49ers have ever had. It was great seeing him again.
