The NFL Draft is a wrap for another year, and the time has come for undrafted free agency. This is always the wildest part of draft weekend, with players committing to multiple teams, teams changing their minds, and all sorts of other craziness. The 49ers have 82 players on their roster following the draft. That leaves them eight spots for UDFAs to fill out the 90-man roster.
Our man Dan Kadar put together a list of the best remaining players following the draft. Some of these guys will be priority free agents who sign somewhere quickly for a nice little signing bonus. Others will be hustling to land wherever they can. Shawn Oakman is unlikely to sign anywhere due to ongoing legal issues.
The 49ers drafted extensively on the defensive and offensive lines, so I would not expect much addition there. We could see some linebackers, maybe a wide receiver or two. The team now has five quarterbacks, so I'm not sure if we see them add somebody else. I could see a tight end getting added to the mix.
