Good morning! The highlight of Thursday had to be Adam Schefter's report that the Denver Broncos met with quarterback Johnny Manziel. What ESPN did not really clarify was when, and numerous subsequent reports said it was nearly a month ago. Manziel was waived by the Browns on March 11, and Broncos head coach Kubiak apparently met with him shortly after that. Kubiak is a fellow Texas A&M alum, and the various non-ESPN reports suggested his meeting was mostly just about offering help to Manziel to get his life turned around.
That being said, it would have been amusing to see the Broncos attempts to leverage the 49ers in the Colin Kaepernick trade discussions be Mark Sanchez, Johnny Manziel, and Trevor Siemian. That would have taken this debacle to a whole new level.
In the meantime, we continue to wait. On to the links!
