The NFL is holding league meetings this week on Tuesday, and there are two notable issues on the table. First, the league will vote on Super Bowl host cities for 2019 to 2021 (Santa Clara is not among the finalists). The other notable issue is instant replay. According to Rich McKay, the chairman of the league's competition committee, the league is considering changes that could help clear a few things up.
McKay told USA Today NFL reporter Jarrett Bell that the league is changing the rulebook from what can be reviewed to what cannot be reviewed. The Baltimore Ravens proposed a rule change that would liberalize the plays that could be reviewed. The team pulled the proposal, but McKay is saying that the changes that will be discussed this week are a bit of a compromise. We'll see how much of a compromise we actually see.
And on that note, Sunday is slowly coming to a close. The Golden State Warriors are facing the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals. Feel free to use this as an open thread for the game, and whatever else is going on to close out the weekend.
