The Bay Area has a great sports history, and the coming week will feature one of the best runs of sporting events in recent memory. The region has had plenty of champions, but the next week could feature one of the strongest runs of big games in a long time. Here's how the schedule looks if the Golden State Warriors can somehow complete the monster comeback against the Oklahoma City Thunder:
Monday, May 30
- Western Conference Finals, Game 7: Golden State Warriors vs. Oklahoma City Thunder
- Stanley Cup Finals, Game 1: San Jose Sharks @ Pittsburgh Penguins
Wednesday, June 1
- Stanley Cup Finals, Game 2: San Jose Sharks @ Pittsburgh Penguins
Thursday, June 2
- NBA Finals, Game 1: Golden State Warriors vs. Cleveland Cavaliers
Friday, June 3
- Copa América Centenario: United States vs. Columbia, Levi's Stadium
Saturday, June 4
- Stanley Cup Finals, Game 2: San Jose Sharks vs. Pittsburgh Penguins
Sunday, June 5
- NBA Finals, Game 2: Golden State Warriors vs. Cleveland Cavaliers
Monday, June 6
- Stanley Cup Finals, Game 2: San Jose Sharks @ Pittsburgh Penguins
- Copa América Centenario: Argentina vs. Chile, Levi's Stadium
Aside from Tuesday, that's major sporting events happening every day this coming week. And it all gets started with two big games on Memorial Day. We get the Warriors trying to earn a spot in the NBA Finals, and we get the Sharks playing their first ever game in the Stanley Cup Finals. The Bay Area's gonna need that Tuesday just to recover from what could be a wild Monday night.
