NFL.com draft grades for each player picked. 49er picks are in red with call outs. Overall, it looks like our draft fairs well against the website with our tackles being the biggest reaches (Theus and Cooper) . Garnett is a slight reach, but wouldn't have been had we stayed put. In previous years, scores above 5.5 have a good chance of contributing in year 1. Of course, this assumes the grading year-to-year is consistent. The wide spread in picks versus scores highlights how hard grading players really is. For example, 5 players with a grade of 6 or high fell out of the second round.
I think the realistic upside of this draft is 3 starters (DeFo, Garnett, and a CB) and 3 role players (e.g. swing tackle, RB2, DL depth). Comparatively, that would probably be an "A" draft, though it would also depend on the snaps and quality of the players.
