On Wednesday morning, someone asked me to retweet a GoFundMe for a Sacramento football team in need of some training equipment. The coach wanted to purchase sleds, resistance parachutes, agility ladders, and more to help his players keep training in the offseason. He needed $550, and thus set up the GoFundMe to see what he could raise.
It seemed like a worthy cause so I gave it a retweet. Not too much later, the fundraising was complete courtesy of the San Francisco 49ers!

I realize $550 is not that much money for an NFL franchise, but it is still cool of the 49ers to help out a random high school football coach like that. They certainly won't be able to help everybody out there, but little things like this are nice to see.
