Good morning everyone. Hope you’re having a wonderful day, and if you happen to be a San Jose Sharks fan, I hope you somehow survived last night’s game against the Pittsburgh Penguins. I barely did. I’m not sure I can handle a Game 6, let alone a Game 7, but I’m nonetheless excited to see it happening.
On the topic of the San Francisco 49ers, there’s not a ton going on that we can really dissect, but at least footballs are being thrown. Colin Kaepernick is throwing some of those footballs, and that’s encouraging. There’s not a ton to be excited about when it comes to the 49ers’ quarterback battle featuring Kaepernick and Blaine Gabbert, but if somehow they make each other better, it might be worth watching.
Interestingly, Kaepernick finally spoke to the media and said he was happy to be around. I genuinely believe him, in that I think he has what it takes to put all of that behind him and focus on the act of playing football. I never subscribed to any theories that he was mentally weak. Being a loner is an entirely different thing.
