After three weeks of OTAs and mandatory minicamp, San Francisco 49ers veteran safety Antoine Bethea gathered many of his teammates, former and current, to raise money for Second Harvest Food Bank. It was pretty warm at San Jose Municipal Stadium but there was much fun to be had.

Bethea opened up the event with a meet and greet where fans were able to take pictures with and get autographs from the players. There was a lovely performance of the National Anthem by Amber Rose Walker who is a long time 49er faithful, especially after meeting Colin Kaepernick at Camp Taylor.

The day continued with a home run derby that was won by RB DuJuan Harris after being one of the three finalists that included S Eric Reid and Titans CB B.W. Webb. Harris mentioned he hadn’t played any sort of baseball or softball since before high school. Most of all, everyone had a great time while money was raised for a great cause.
