Good Morning! Busy week as we have the mandatory minicamp underway for the San Francisco 49ers.

Yep, mandatory, and who isn't at it? Why Anthony Davis. Even when it's obvious he's not coming back to the team, this dude just won't go away. At least this time you can't blame his Twitter feed.

There's no doubting Davis had issues coming back to the team, issues caused by both he and the 49ers organization (hence his headache), but somehow his desire to really return is being brought into question. Especially when current 49ers offensive line coach Pat Flaherty said they spoke months ago and that was it, basically ending the Anthony Davis return with "That's old news."

How this whole return got botched is certainly driving curiosity. Despite his Twitter post from a few months ago basically put the nail in the coffin of him ever returning, Davis isn't going away. I'm sure we'll get more about all of this as the season goes on. The return may be a dream (or nightmare depending on it) but the story has plenty more chapters to be told. Stay tuned!
