I don’t think defensive lineman Kaleb Ramsey had a big future with the San Francisco 49ers or in the NFL at large, but I do think it’s disappointing that he won’t be continuing his NFL journey. I’m still not sure exactly why he retired — it was suggested that it’s injury-related but it’s unclear if that’s actually the case.
Retirements suck, and they’re only going to get more common around the NFL, though the reasons vary. It just sucks to see, as I don’t really think there’s any obvious solution out there to the players retiring because they don’t think the league is worth the permanent health risk that comes with playing in the NFL.
And with that sobering thought, let’s get into your links for the day. Enjoy, folks.
