Good morning everyone. Looks like the San Francisco 49ers got a dose of potentially good news -- the reinstatement of offensive tackle Anthony Davis — and some bad news — Ian Williams going on the non-football injury list.
I’m much more upset by the Williams news than I am excited about the Davis news, but that has a lot to do with how I feel about Davis’ potential impact on the locker room and as a distraction overall. If those things aren’t a concern at all and Davis has his heart in it — something I’m certainly not qualified to speculate on — then that’s great.
Hopefully the addition of Zane Beadles will turn out to be an excellent reclamation project and not the team signing somebody who was clearly on the decline. And hopefully Williams can recover sufficiently sooner rather than later, though this is obviously very bad news.
Onto your links for the day.
