Well, the best part about practice today was everyone had a chance to see it. So rather than just the beat writers and other qualified personnel, 8,000 fans got to watch the San Francisco 49ers send Ronald Blair to the first team, Blaine Gabbert and Colin Kaepernick both struggle, and other things to tell us the calm is over and football is emerging once more.

With Arik Armstead out due to a shoulder injury, Blair’s current rub is interesting. Definitely something to see if he if he lines up with the ones in the 49ers first preseason game. As far as the quarterbacks, well, I guess all we can do is say “Give it a bit more time,” one of them will emerge as the better of the two. I hope, anyways.
