It’s almost game day for the San Francisco 49ers! The team kicks off a little over 24 hours from now, as the first week of the 2016 preseason comes to a close. In the meantime, we get four more games Saturday afternoon and evening to keep us occupied.
The most intriguing has to be Cowboys-Rams strictly because it’s the first NFL game in Los Angeles since 1994. I’ll say NFL instead of professional football since the USC joke is too easy to make. But it’s cool to see football back there after all this time.
There will be four teams playing today that the 49ers will face this year. That includes the Rams, Seahawks, Bills, and Cowboys. For the Rams I’m curious to see how that quarterback situation shakes itself out. The reports on Jared Goff have been fairly negative, but we’ll see what some live action brings for him.
