Somehow Jeff Fisher is getting a contract extension

The Rams relocated from St. Louis to Los Angeles this offseason, and with their move up to draft Jared Goff, it seems like they want to find some measure of stability. And so, now word comes that the team is about to extend head coach Jeff Fisher and general manager Les Snead.

Yep, the man who has led the Rams to records of 7-8-1, 7-9, 6-10, and 7-9, is getting a pay day.

Now, far be it from a 49ers fan to critique ownership decisions. Our team “parted ways” with Jim Harbaugh and promoted Jim Tomsula in his place. Maybe they will save face with the Chip Kelly decision, but for now, ownership has some work in front of it.

That being said, lol Rams, and props to Twitter for the strong 7-9 jokes! I suggested $7.9 million, but $7M-$9M per year is probably the strongest option.
