Given everything that happened in the first preseason game, it will be interesting to see if we get anything different from Blaine Gabbert on his second outing. His first preseason game was awful and he looked like he was back in Jacksonville. Nothing like the progress displayed in his half-season playing in the Geep Chryst offense. Even with Colin Kaepernick out, Gabbert is playing himself out of a job with another performance like that.
Beyond that. I don’t care if it’s preseason. It’s just nice to have some football on the tube. As far as the San Francisco 49ers, while there’s not much to expect from them this year, there’s a certain play on the field that’s much different than last year that’s inspiring hope. Despite all the hiccups, it was nice seeing the team running around like it did last week and hopefully it continues into this week.
