Recently signed San Francisco 49ers quarterback Christian Ponder had a huge game in his debut on Saturday. He completed 7-of-8 passes for 86 yards and a touchdown, and also rushed 22 yards for a touchdown to help guide the 49ers to victory.
His wife, Samantha Ponder, was expressing excitement during the game, but after the game had a little bit of fun snark to throw out. Christian had been working on painting their house during his down time out of the NFL when the 49ers came calling. Naturally he took the opportunity, and Saturday showed why it was probably a good idea, even if the paint job didn’t get done. And Christian will not be apologizing for it anytime soon!
