Golden Nuggets: Will 49ers’ Colin Kaepernick play vs. Packers?

New, comments

Friday, August 26, 2016 edition of the Golden Nuggets, a daily compilation of San Francisco 49ers links from around the Internet.

Good morning everyone. I’m typing from a new laptop with a much smaller keyboard than my giant hands are used to. It’s getting frustrating correcting all the typos so I may just give up on the matter altogether eventually. So if there are typos, well you lot can deal with them.

Today, hopefully Colin Kaepernick will take the field for the San Francisco 49ers against the Green Bay Packers. For some reason, Kaepernick has it out for the Packers and has a history of putting a beating on them, so I’d surely like to see him do so and make something real of this quarterback battle with Blaine Gabbert.

Either way, I’m not actually expecting much. The Packers will be playing their starters for the first time this preseason and they are a much better team, so things could get ugly quickly. Hopefully things calm down a bit and we get a good game, though.

Onto your links for the day.
