Colin Kaepernick wore socks at Kezar practice with a pig in a cop’s uniform

New, comments

Yea, this is probably not going to go over too well.

Well, I can’t imagine this is going to go over well with police. The San Francisco 49ers practiced at Kezar Stadium on August 10, and it turns out he was wearing what we will call an “interesting” choice of socks. A few people spotted it on Twitter, and I’m guessing this is going to become a thing. Here’s one of the pictures of Kaepernick at practice.

And here’s a blown-up version of the picture. Yep, Colin Kaepernick is wearing socks that feature a pig wearing a police officer’s hat. For those who are unaware (I don’t know if international folks in particular know it), “pig” is a derogatory term for police officers. It appears you can get them here for $12 + shipping.

The San Francisco police union demanded an apology from Kaepernick, the 49ers, and the NFL. I’m guessing they will not be all too pleased with this latest development. I don’t believe we’ll see these tonight because of the required NFL uniform during games, but we’ll see.
