NaVorro Bowman gets 49ers first turnover with interception

The San Francisco 49ers got their first defensive turnover of the season early in the second quarter against the Los Angeles Rams. Quinton Dial got his hands up to deflect the pass, and NaVorro Bowman grabbed the ball as it floated down. The 49ers would eventually turn that interception into a Shaun Draughn touchdown, and a 14-0 lead.

The 49ers defense has been solid in the early going. They are stacking the box against Todd Gurley, and forcing Case Keenum to beat them. They have gotten solid work from their cornerbacks, but it all starts up front. The 49ers are without Aaron Lynch for the first four games, but this first game is a solid start for the group.
