Anthony Davis spoke to the media briefly after practice on Wednesday, and it is no surprise he was asked about his missed practice last week. Davis said there wasa miscommunication and he did not consider retirement. He would not go into any more detail.
Last weekend, reports were flying that Davis was speaking with family about potentially retiring. Jennifer Chan reported that Davis had grown uncomfortable with the move to guard. He and Trent Baalke reportedly spoke about it and cleared things up. Chip Kelly said he and Davis had a long talk, and was the first to reference a miscommunication.
Who knows what to make of all this!
