The San Francisco 49ers are back at practice on Tuesday, and they have a couple players who will likely be on this week’s report. Anthony Davis is working through the NFL’s concussion protocol, while Jaquiski Tartt is dealing with an unknown issue.
#49ers RT Anthony Davis (concussion) was on a stationary bike in the weight room during practice.

#49ers safety Jaquiski Tartt is in weight room with unknown condition. He's not taking part in the start of practice.

Davis suffered his concussion last Thursday, and the process requires he be asymptomatic at rest, then after exertion, then pass a contact test. There is no word on the severity of his concussion symptoms, so we will wait and see what this week brings with the blue non-contact jersey and each injury report.
Tartt’s issue, whatever it might be, is concerning in light of the loss of Ray-Ray Armstrong to injured reserve. Gerald Hodges and Michael Wilhoite will likely handle a lot of the ILB work, but Tartt could contribute as a third safety in nickel or dime packages. Once we know more about his injury, we’ll have a better idea of what to make of things.
