49ers-Seahawks injury report: Jaquiski Tartt back at practice, Russell Wilson full, Thomas Rawls DNP

New, comments

All the details from both practice participation reports.

The San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks released their first practice participation reports of Week 3, and we have a few notable names to track.

The good news for the 49ers is that Jaquiski Tartt is back at practice. He did not participate in practice on Tuesday, working out in the weight room with a knee injury. He was limited on Wednesday, but it’s certainly a step forward from DNP. Mike Purcell is a new addition as well with an ankle injury.

On the Seahawks side of things, Russell Wilson was a full participant at practice. He suffered an ankle injury that has been described as of the high ankle variety. That often costs a player multiple weeks. Maybe it’s the nanobubbles, maybe it’s not as bad as expected, maybe it’s something else entirely.

Thomas Rawls was a DNP, although the team has said they expect him to play Sunday. He likely would serve on the lighter end of a rotation with Christine Michael. Rawls took over when Marshawn Lynch got hurt last season, but a broken ankle slowed him coming into training camp.
