Golden Nuggets: The 49ers are the opposite of the Patriots

Good morning everyone. Hopefully, like me, you ignored the New England Patriots because recognizing just how ridiculously good they are as a complete franchise is the stuff that nightmares are made of. The San Francisco 49ers are poorly run. The Patriots are the exact opposite, and can dominate their opponents regardless of who starts at quarterback.

Jimmy Garoppolo looked like he might be something special, but plugging him or Jacoby Brissett into San Francisco’s offense, they probably wouldn’t see any success. It’s frustrating how good Bill Belichick is a head coach.

Anyway, onto the 49ers. They weren’t horrible for an entire 60 minutes against the Carolina Panthers, but it wasn’t a great game. The one thing they have going for them is the fact that the Seattle Seahawks, their Week 3 opponents, were embarrassingly bad against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 2. Like ... hilariously bad.

Let’s get on to your links for the day.
